في المرآة من ورائهم ألمح نفسى، الشموع التى على رأسى بعضها مطفأ وبعضها مازال مشتعلا. لكني لا أعرف على وجه التحديد عدد هذه ولا تلك فحسب قصيدة صغيرة لرجل مات، ترمز الشموع المطفأة إلى ما انقضى من سنوات عمران أو ما أشبعناه من رغبات، أما الأخرى المشتعلة فهي السنوات القادمة أو الرغبات التى لا تزال تتضور جوعا فى أحشائنا. وعلى هذا فكأن الشموع المضيئة غير موجودة أصلا، عددها غير مؤكد بالمرة، افتراض، فكرة، أمل عنيد شأن الثورة المباركة.
