هذا "الحوار" مع إحسان عبد القدوس، جرى منذ فترة جرت بعدها مياه كثيرة.. تدفقت أحياناً وتكاسلت أحياناً أخرى في مجرى النيل الذي تطل عليه العمارة التي يقيم فيها.. ومع جريان المياه في النهر العظيم، نبضت شرايين الحياة في أجساد ملايين البشر ودقت القلوب، وجلس إحسان أكثر من مرة أمام عدسات مصوري التليفزيون والصحافة لإجراء أحاديث عديدة... بالضبط كما أجريت معه من قبل على مدى أكثر من ثلاثين عاماً! فهو- كما يجيد الكتابة- يجيد الكلام واستقطاب محاوريه.. يبدو في بيته إنساناً بسيطاً، تقليدياً، محافظاً إلى أقصى حد.. عكس "المفهوم عنه" من خلال قصصه ورواياته.. وما يشاع عنه ويقال.. من حكايات..و .. حكايات!
وعلى كل، فإنه إذا كانت أحاديث كثيرة قد جرت مع إحسان عبد القدوس، وحكايات أكثر صادقة أو غير صادقة قد قبلت عنه.. فإن الأمر المؤكد أنه حتى الآن لم تصدر عنه دراسة نقدية علمية.. وفي رأيي فإن الذين تصدوا للحركة النقدية المصرية- بل والعربية- لم يفعلوا ذلك خشية القول أنهم يقرأون هذه "القصص الجنسية" أو أنهم يهتمون بهذا "الأدب المكشوف" الذي لا يعبر عن معاناة الجماهير ومشكلاتها الأساسية أو يضيف رصيداً إلى الإنسانية!، في رأيي أن هؤلاء وأولئك، مخطئون.. وهم بهذا يتصفون ببعض ملامح الشخصية- التقليدية في مجتمعاتنا العربية والشرقية عموماً- التي تخفي مالا تعلن وتعلن مالا تخفي!
