إن أي نشاط تربوي هو موضوعياً نوع من العنف الرمزي، وذلك بوصفه فرضاً من قبل جهة متعسفة لتعسف ثقافي معين. وكتاب العنف الرمزي يأتي في هذا الإطار حيث يتناول بيير بورديو بحثاً في أصول علم الاجتماع التربوي وذلك بهدف الوقوف على مدى تأثير النشاط التربوي في علاقات القوة بين الجماعات والطبقات التي تتألف منها التشكيلة الاجتماعية والتي تؤصل النفوذ التعسفي باعتباره شرطاً لانعقاد علاقة ا إن أي نشاط تربوي هو موضوعياً نوع من العنف الرمزي، وذلك بوصفه فرضاً من قبل جهة متعسفة لتعسف ثقافي معين. وكتاب العنف الرمزي يأتي في هذا الإطار حيث يتناول بيير بورديو بحثاً في أصول علم الاجتماع التربوي وذلك بهدف الوقوف على مدى تأثير النشاط التربوي في علاقات القوة بين الجماعات والطبقات التي تتألف منها التشكيلة الاجتماعية والتي تؤصل النفوذ التعسفي باعتباره شرطاً لانعقاد علاقة الاتصال التربوي، أي لفرض وترسيخ نموذج ثقافي تعسفي وفق نمط تعسفي من الفرض والترسيخ (التربية).
