ويتحدث المؤلف عن بنية الكتاب، بأنه " تركيب خلاصات مقالات و أبحاث شخصية ارتأيت تعميما للفائده نشره، للتعبير من خلاله عن فكرة محورية مفادها أن؛ موضوع بيوتات طنجة خلال القرن 18، يبرز مدلى مساهمة المرأة المغربية - الطنجية نموداجا - في البناء الحضاري وخوضها رهان التنمية واعمار المدينة التي تحررت بعد أكثر من قرنين من الاحتلال الأجنبي".
كما يبرز الكاتب من خلال هذا المؤلف، أن هذا الصرح الحضاري الطنجي، ساهم في بنائه أفراد من تشكيلات قبلية و عرقية و دينية مختلفة، ومن أصول متباينة على أرض الغرب الاسلامي، تزاوجت و تعايشت و أفرزت نسيجا اجتماعيا لايستقيم انتماؤه الا لهذا الوطن الغالي، بل يؤسس لبناء مجتمع حديث مفعم بروح مواطنة عالية،
