في هذا الكتاب مجموعة قصصية قصيرة للقاضية القطرية دلال خليفة بعنوان "أنا الياسمينة البيضاء" حيث نجد أن استخدام الكتاب الخطاب الاجتماعي في تجربتها القصصية واضحاً وجلياً، حيث سعت الكاتبة الى النقد الاجتماعي التقليدي أثناء بحثها في الهم السياسي والاقتصادي بالشكل المباشر المعهود. كما كان هناك توظيف للتهكم أحياناً والتعاطف أحياناً أخرى على بعض الشخوص والاختفاء خلف هذه الأساليب في محاولة لعدم كشف وجود ذات الكاتبة كمتدخلة أثناء الانتقال من وعي الى آخر. وقد تضمن الكتاب 16 قصة بعناوين فرعية مثل: "أنا الياسمينة الخضراء" الذي عنون فيها الكتاب، "لنفسها صنعت غابة"، "الشاحنات"، "الثقب"، "اللوحة"، "النافذة المضيئة"، "أشياء فوق - بنفسجية"، "الحقائق"، "نظريات" "الطفل"، "الكائن"، "أعتقد أني أحبك"، "في جيبي"، "المفاجأة الكبرى"، "صديقتي"، "دعيني ارحل". كما نجد في قصة "أشياء فوق البنفسجية" أسلوب تعدد الأصوات في نفس القصة وانتقالها بين وعي ووعي، والتظاهر بالحيادية بينما تعلق الموضوعية بالتهكم.
