تطوّر الملكيّة العقارية والفعاليات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية 1980 - 1927 طبعة ثانية منقحة ومزيدة هذا الكتاب نُشرت طبعته الثانية، المنقحة والمزيدة، ليضم النص الأكاديمي لنيل درجة الدكتوراه، وتُلحق به لمحة تاريخية، يتعرف القارئ من خلالها على مدينة حلب القديمة منذ نشأتها عمراناً وعمارة، وعلى الحلبي المعمار والتاجر والصانع، والذي أعطى لحلب أهميتها التاريخية في أرجاء العالم القديم وحتى الحديث، إضافة إلى موقعها الممتاز على طريق الحرير. كما ألحق بالنص الأول الذي ورد في الطبعة الأولى عدة ملاحق تتحدث عن: الخانات والقيساريات وأهميتها في العمارة والتجارة والمستمرة إلى اليوم. سكن الجاليات الأجنبية والوكالات التجارية والقنصليات منذ القرن الثاني عشر وحتى عام 1822م في الخانات، وخاصة الخان الكبير، وحياتهم اليومية فيها وتنقلهم بينها وذكريات الرحالة عنها. طرائف كثيرة عن الأسواق عرفها الحلبيون، ولا يزال بعضها مستمراً لدى العاملين في حلب، في أسواقها وأحيائها. إعطاء نموذج عن أعمال شركة دولية كان مركزها الرئيسي في الشرق، في حلب. بحث وافٍ عن خان الجمرك أكبر خانات مركز المدينة وأهمها. ملحق سادس عن أعمال الترميم والإحياء التي تقوم بها الدولة لاهتمامها الكبير في هذا المِعْلم السياحي والتاريخي الهام.
