نعيم صبرى روائى وشـاعر مصرى مقيم بالقاهرة . بدأ مسـيرته الأدبية بكتابة الشـعر وأصدر فى البداية ديوانى شـعر ، يوميات طابع بريد وتأملات فى الأحوال . اتجه بعد ذلك اٍلى المسـرح وكتب مسـرحية بئر التوتة ، وهى مسـرحية شـعرية موسـيقـية . كتب بعد ذلك مسـرحيته الشـعرية الزعيم ثم عاد فأصدر ديوان شـعر حديث الكائنات . بدأ نعيم صبرى كتاباته النثرية بكتاب عن سـيرة طفولته بعنوان يوميات طفل قديم ثم واصل كتاباته النثرية فأصدر تسـع روايات حتى الآن ، أحدثها رواية "وتظل تحلم اٍيزيس" ، التى صدرت فى 2009 عن دار نشـر مدبولى . درس نعيم صبري الهندسة الميكانيكية وتخرج من كلية الهندسة بجامعة القاهرة عام 1968. عمل في المجال الهندسي وفي الأعمال الحرة حتى تفرغ للأدب منذ سنة 1995. متزوج من السيدة نجوى يوسف وأب لابنة واحدة، .سارة صبري.

نسمة طرية سرت متهادية فى أجواء المساء, فأنتعشت الرواد المتناثرين هنا وهناك, على موائد تراس النادى اليونانى, بقايا عبق هيلينى يستقر فوق محل جروبى ميدان سليمان باشا أو طلعت حرب, سمه ماشئت, منذ زمن هل شهر سبتمبر منذ أيام وطفق يصارع بقايا القيظ والرطوبة, المتخلفين عن شهور الصيف الخانقة. تحرك الجرسوناتبإياعهم المعهود بين الموائد, ما بين توصيل الطلبات ورفع البقايا.
- أليس الجالس هناك هو جورج, المغنى بتاع زمان؟
- أين هو؟
- ذاك الجالس قرب المدخل.. مع الرجل الذى يبدو أنه ضرير.
-أظنه هو!.. لكن ماباله قد سمن وتهدل هكذا؟!..لا يا شيخ..قد يكون شبيها به!.. مر خالد الجرسون إلى جوارهما فاستوقفاه..
خالد!.. أليس هذا الجالس بجوار المدخل هو جورج,.. المغنى القديم؟!
نعم هو..
وما الذى دهاه؟!.. سمن واصلع.. كدت لا أعرفه, رغم أننى كنت دائم التردد على المحلات التى كان يغنى فيها.
- دنيا يا بيه!.. مسكين!.. ربنا يكون فى عونه.. ماتت زوجته وتركت له طفلة وحية يربيها.
-طفلة؟!.
- تزوج على كبر, لكن زوجته مرضت مرضا صعبا بعد ولادة البنت وربنا افتكرها.. هكذا يقولون!..
-لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله!..
وطبعا الشغل أصبح صعبا بعدما كبر فى السن.. زى ما أنت شايف.
- يا خسارة!.. كان مغنيا جميلا.. ياه.. ما أسرع مرور الزمن!..
- دنيا غدارة!.. هات لنا اتنين بيرة ساقعة.
- وهات شوية ترمس معاهم والنبى.
