نعيم صبرى روائى وشـاعر مصرى مقيم بالقاهرة . بدأ مسـيرته الأدبية بكتابة الشـعر وأصدر فى البداية ديوانى شـعر ، يوميات طابع بريد وتأملات فى الأحوال . اتجه بعد ذلك اٍلى المسـرح وكتب مسـرحية بئر التوتة ، وهى مسـرحية شـعرية موسـيقـية . كتب بعد ذلك مسـرحيته الشـعرية الزعيم ثم عاد فأصدر ديوان شـعر حديث الكائنات . بدأ نعيم صبرى كتاباته النثرية بكتاب عن سـيرة طفولته بعنوان يوميات طفل قديم ثم واصل كتاباته النثرية فأصدر تسـع روايات حتى الآن ، أحدثها رواية "وتظل تحلم اٍيزيس" ، التى صدرت فى 2009 عن دار نشـر مدبولى . درس نعيم صبري الهندسة الميكانيكية وتخرج من كلية الهندسة بجامعة القاهرة عام 1968. عمل في المجال الهندسي وفي الأعمال الحرة حتى تفرغ للأدب منذ سنة 1995. متزوج من السيدة نجوى يوسف وأب لابنة واحدة، .سارة صبري.

كتب على الأستاذ تحتمس عدم الإستقرار دائما. أن يغادر الأماكن التى اعتادها، أن يغير فراشه دائما، أن يفارق ركنه الذى ألفه، مقعده الذى يسكن إليه. أن يرحل عن من أحبهم وعاشرهم وتعلق بهم. لكن الأستاذ تحتمس يجنح أن يكون نفسه دائما مهما حاصرته الشدائد والظروف. يفعل ما يشاء عندما يشاء وأينما وجد. قد ينحنى قليلا للعاصفة تحت وطأة الحاجة، وعندما لا يكون قادرا على التحكم فى مجريات الأمور، ولكنه سرعان ما يستقيم ويواجه الأعاصير مهما عصفت الرياح، صلب لا يلين فيما يخصه هو شخصيا ولا يتنازل، يعتز بنفسه وفنه وحريته وكرامته، لكنه يدفع الثمن دائما من استقراره وعاداته وارتباطاته وتوازنه العاطفى
