هذا الكتاب المسمى ملحمة كربلاء المقدسة والذي يحتوي بين طياته قصيدة العلامة الشيخ حسن الدمستاني التي تجد أن في كل حرف من حروفها يبصر القلب المكمد المحزون لمبدعها ويتفتت ألما على ما جاء للحسين الشهيد (عليه السلام) سبط الرسول (ص) في كربلاء الدامية ويقرأ فيها صدق الولاء و طهر الاعتقاد وإشراقه الفكر والعاطفة الجياشة الملتهبة التي راحت تنفث في أحشائها دائمة سيالة في زفرات الحسرة والمصاب . فهذا القصيدة محاولة لتدوين كربلاء شعرا بدءا من التضييق الذي لقيه الحسين في كربلاء وفي المدينة ومكة قبل خروجه وانتهاء بصيحات الثكالى في مسمع الزمن مرورا بقتل الصحب الكرام ولظى الرضيع وشهقاته ورفرفته على رقبة أبيه وصعود الشمر بنعاله على صدر الحسين يُهبر أوداجه والقصيدة ذو تفاعيل وأوزان وقافية فهي من الناحية الفنية متكاملة ومتسقة. ويحوي الكتاب على مقدمة للشيخ علي آل موسى ومقدمة للمؤلف الشيخ عبد القادر أبو المكارم ويحتوي على فهرس لموضوعاته، فيها: صفات العمل الخالد، حزن أهل البيت وشيعتهم في محرم، دخول كوكبة من الشعراء على الإمام الصادق (عليه السلام)، بالإضافة إلى لائحة بالأسماء التي قدمت قصائد في هذا الكتاب.
