هذا الكتاب الذي نقدمه للباحثين العرب ، هو محصلة لقاءات عديدة جمعتنا بالدكتور ( عز الدين المناصرة) في نهاية الثمانينات ، وأوائل القرن الجديد ، وقد استفدنا منه كثيراً أثناء عمله كأستاذ بجامعة تلسمان (1991-1987) ولمسنا في أحاديثه ، التي كان يرتلها علينا بين الحين والآخر ، رغبة ( مفكر عربي) ، لا يألو جهداً في تغيير الوضع المتردي ، الذي آل الية البحث العلمي في المؤسسة التعليمية الجامعية بكلمة طيبة ، برأي سديد ، بتوجيه علمي مؤسس ، بإبداء اقتناع بفكرة بعد طول تفكير ، إن هذه القيم الايجابية التي ارتهنت إليها المناقشات العديدة ، أفضت الى صياغة بعض الحلول حول اشكالية تلقي ( المعرفة السيميائية ) في المؤسسة العلمية وكان لا بد أن نتناقش حول صعوبات المعرفة السيميائية ، وصعوبات الترجمة وهكذا أنجز هذا الجهد المشترك في الترجمة ، والمراجعة في هذا الكتاب ، الذي يضم ستة نصوص نقدية سيميائية ، لعدد من الأعلام المؤسسين في فرنسا ، حيث تشكلت مدرسة باريس السيميائية بقيادة غريماس الدكتور رشيد بن مالك تلسمان - الجزائر
