وقد وضعت الفصل الأول لهذا الكتاب لدراسة "التخطيط للملابس وفكرة عن النماذج المسطحة والنماذج الجاهزة وشرح النموذج الأساسي".
ويتناول الفصل الثاني الطرق المتقدمة في تصريف البنسات وذلك بالشرح لكل نموذج على حدة متبعة الطرق الواضحة للطالبة المتقدمة في إعداد النماذج.
ويتناول الفصل الثالث طرق تنفيذ النماذج في الجونلات وكيفية إعدادها.
ويتناول الفصل الرابع الطرق المتبعة في تصميم النماذج الخاصة بالأكمام وأنواعها المتعددة.
ويتناول الفصل الخامس الطرق المتقدمة في تنفيذ الأكوال بأشكالها المختلفة.
كما يتناول الفصل السادس الطرق المتبعة في تصميم النماذج الخاصة بالقصات الدرابية المتقدمة وكذلك الجاكيتات وكيفية تنفيذها على النماذج المسطحة.
ويتناول الفصل السابع طرق التنفيذ وإعداد الأقمشة وملاحظات قبل القص وطرق أخذ العلامات والتصميمات التي تصلح في تنفيذها.

لقد قمت بإستخدام النموج الأساسي لباترون بروفيلي ولكن يمكنك استخدام أي نموذج أساسي ورسم القصات عليه.
وليس من الضروري استخدام النموذج الأساسي لبروفيلي، وقد استخدم هنا نظراً لإجراء البحوث العملية عليه التي توصلنا من خلالها إلى أنه مطابق لنموذج بوردا الألمانية التي تتفق قياساتها مع المرأة العربية وقد رسمت النموذج الأساسي للتذكرة فقط.
