يقع هذا الكتاب للدكتور غالب علي الداودي في جزئين يعالج الجزء الأول تنازع القوانين، من خلال تعريف القانون الدولي الخاص وتطوره وبيان موضوعاته وخصائصه ومصادره، مع التطرق إلى التعريف بتنازع القوانين وأنواعه وتطوره التاريخي، وكذلك أساس تطبيق الأجنبي ومراحله في النزاع المشوب بعنصر أجنبي، والقانون الواجب تطبيقه في مثل هذه الحالة وفقاً لقواعد الإسناد الأردنية، وموانع تطبيق القانون الأجنبي المختص. كما يعالج تنازع الاختصاص القضائي الدولي وعلاقته بالقانون الدولي الخاص ومعايير ثبوته، بالإضافة إلى الاستثناءات التي ترد على حرية الدولة في تنظيم الاختصاص القضائي الدولي لمحاكمها، مع التوقف عند تنفيذ الأحكام القضائية الأجنبية وقرارات التحكيم. وأما الجزء الثاني فهو مخصص للجنسية عبر التوقف عند جنسية الشخص الطبيعي، من خلال الحديث عن أسس فرض واكتساب جنسية الشخص الطبيعي، وكذلك فقدان الجنسية واستردادها، بالإضافة إلى تناول موضوع تنازع الجنسيات والاختصاص في قضايا الجنسية، وكما كان هناك حديث عن الشخصية الموضوعية لابد من حديث آخر عن الشخصية المعنوية من خلال بيان مفهوم الشخص الحكمي وأنواعه، وأسس جنسية الأشخاص الحكمية التابعة للقانون الخاص، مع التوقف عند أسس جنسية السفن والطائرات والأقمار الصناعية.
