29 قصيدة تشكل قوام ديوان "ثائر مثل غاندي..زاهد كجيفارا"، لسمير درويش، تتنوع في مذاهبها وتجتمع في نقطة مشتركة تتمثل في كونها معاً عبارة عن باقة مشاهد شعرية يرصد الشاعر من خلالها حالات المرأة، وعلاقته بها، ليبدو في خضم كتاباته وكأنه يراقبها من وراء النافذة، أو يشاهدها في التلفزيون.. وهذا ما يشكل تحدياً لعكسه في قالب شعري جاذب.
اللغة التي يستخدمها درويش في العمل، بسيطة قريبة من لغة الحياة اليومية، ويعتمد فيها كثيرا على المجاز الذي يصنعه المشهد الشعري مع كل ما هو موجود خارجه من أصوات وألوان ومرئيات وخبرات.
ويقول الكاتب : «أحاول باستمرار أن أكتب ذاتي بكل تقلباتها وهزائمها وانكساراتها.. وأعتقد أن هذا يضيف بعدًا جديدًا إلى تجربة الشعر العربي».
