في ديوانه الجديد "غرام افتراضي" لا يصغي الشاعر سمير درويش إلى الأصوات التي تحيطه، فقط، بل إلى الإيماءات المصاحبة والحركات الدالة، وينقلها من فضاءاتها إلى الشعر لتكون شريط الصوت المصاحب لشريط الصورة الشعرية، تلك التي تتشكل لوحات مصبوغة برؤى وأحلام وخيالات، تتعامل مع الافتراضي المأخوذ من الإنترنت كأنه واقعي ملموس، هي إذن لوحات شعرية تلغي المسافة بين المرئي بما يملكه من ضغط وقوة ويقين، إلى الافتراضي الذي تتدخل الحواس في تشكيله، كما تحب وتتمنى.
"غرام افتراضي" ينساب بين الغلافين من دون عوائق: بلا عناوين ولا أرقام، كأنه قصيدة واحدة طويلة، أو جدارية عريضة تضم ألوانًا ممزوجة بعناية فائقة، وخطوطًا، ودوائر، وأصوات، تتجادل مع كل ما يحيطها من ثقافات وموروثات، وجدالها مع القرآن هو الأوضح، حيث يعيد النص الشعري قراءة النص الديني من منظوره، كلغة ومضمون وقصص وأصوات، مما يزيده عمقًا ناتجًا من اشتباك الحديث مع القديم، وجزالة ناتجة من استعارة اللغة والتأثير القرآنيين، كما يمزج في سياق واحد وبكلمات مختزلةالسياسي بالعاطفي بالإنساني.. إلخ.
