ماذا يُخبئ حسن الصلهبي لقارئ مجموعته الشعرية «المخبُوءُ في خَدِّ القنَاديل»؟ ووراء أي قناع تتخفى القصيدة في نصه؟ لا شك أن من يقرأ قصائده سيجدها تتأسس وفق خدعة فنية تمتد من بداية القصيدة حتى خاتمتها تتمثل بتقديم بنية حلمية – رؤيوية لا تعلن عنها القصيدة حتى نهايتها ولكنها تُلمح بها ومع استمرار حركة القصيدة تثور الأسئلة التي تنتظر الإجابة...
يقول الشاعر الصلهبي في القصيدة المعنونة "المخبوء في خَدَّ القناديل": "غَافٍ كأسئلةٍ جِياعْ،/ بَادٍ كنَمنمةِ الشُّعَاعْ./ هّذَا المُسجَّى فِيكَ../ كَيفَ له يَضِلُّ/ وكَيفَ ضَاعْ./ هَذَا الهوى المِسكيُّ../ صَوتُكَ،/ وقعُ ذاتكَ،/ تمتماتُ الماءِ في أَعماقِ رُوحكَ،/ كَيفَ أَشبعَ مقليتكَ،/ وكيفَ جَاعْ./ وكيفَ أغوَتكَ السَّفينةُ،/ واستبدَّ بكَ الشِّراعْ./ هَذي الحمامةُ../ كيفَ لم تُبصر بياضَ مْتُونها،/ ومكثتَ مِنْ قَاعٍ لقاعْ،/ وغَرقتَ في خجلِ".
هنا الشاعر هو الذات الفاعلة في النص؛ بمعنى أنها (الذات/الفاعلة) دال يُنتج ويرسل مجموعة من الإشارات التي تؤدي إلى معمارية نصّية تتجه نحو تخليقات المعاني في حركة الأفعال وموجاتها الدافعة والنابضة في النص بحركة لولبية ودفعات إيقاعة تفكرية، وانفتاح لغوي يؤسس لفضاء شعري يتجاوز المعاني والتباساتها، وفضاءات الشكل واحتمالاته البصرية؛ لتنتج لنا في النهاية ذلك المعنى الباذخ في مداليله وسياقاته المنزاحة؛ وهذا هو السرّ الذي يكمن في الطاقة الشعرية للكلمة في مقاربة نصّية نجدها تتراسل مع كلام لـ "بودلير": إذ يعمل العقل الشعري على استنهاض فاعلية الدلالة الثاوية في كوامن الكلمة".
تضم المجموعة خمسة عشر قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث توزعت في الكتاب على ثلاثة عناوين رئيسية هي: 1- على ضفة الأمد المشتهى. 2- السِّندبادُ في مَحَجّتهِ المُنيرة. 3- القاعدون على مرجل الإثم.
