«أطياف لقاء» ديوان شعرٍ ونَثرٍ فنّي للشاعر مُحِبُّ الخَيْل تركزت ثيماته في بؤرة الحلم، ولكنه الحلم المرتبط بمفهوم الترقب، والانتظار؛ فأن ينتظر المحبوب حبيبه يعني أنه يحيا، والحب لا يتحقق وجوده ولا يكتمل إلا باللقاء. "يا حبيبةَ نَفسي،.. متى ألقاكِ؟!.. فأزدادُ منكِ قربا،.. ويَزيدُنا الوِصالُ حُبّا!"، لهذا كان السعي من أجل الحب، والحياة وجهاً من أوجه انتزاع المعنى الذي لا يتحقق إلا بالكتابة؛ وبهذا المعنى يبدو الشِعر عند مُحِبُّ الخَيْل هو الإكسير الذي يفتح شرايين العقل والقلب والروح، وهو الذي يحدد هوية النص. وقد اختار الشاعر مُحِبُّ الخَيْل المرأة موضوعاً لعالمه الشعري. فبد لنا شاعراً ذاق حلاوة العشق ونعيمه بقدر ما ذاق غيابه وفراقه؛ فكان جريئاً واضحاً في تعبيره، واختياره للغة المناسبة لحالاته، وخاصة تلك الألفاظ التي تبيّن منزلة المرأة في وجدانه وشدِّة تعلقه بها واحترامه لها إذ وظف كل شيءٍ لوصفها.
من عوالم الديوان نقرأ قصيدة بعنوان "توأم الروح":
"أنا وأنتِ توأمان../ لكنّكِ أجمل، بل شيءٌ أكبَر!/ أنا "صدَى الدعاءِ" في قلبِك،/ وأنتِ "نورُ الإجابةِ" في قسمات وَجهي!/ يا حبيبةً ترتَجي قُربي،/ وتهوى وُجودي!/ يا قُرّةَ العينينِ يا "أمَلي"../ لا أوحشَ اللهُ خَيالي من طيفكِ الأزهَر!".
يضم الديوان قصائداً في الشعر العربي الحديث وقصائداً نثرية وخواطر وشذرات جميلة نذكر من العناوين: "القلم"، "نظرةُ قلب"، "سبيل الوصال"، "أول الغيث"، "متى ألقاكِ"، "هدهد الحب"، "جمالها"، عشقٌ لا يبرد" (...) وعناوين أخرى.
