إن محتويات هذا الديوان الذي بين أيدينا من شعر مدرس أحب وطنه وأرضه ورسالته التي أمضى زهرة عمره من أجله فعزف على أوتار قلبه أحلى نفحات الحب وبين آلام وطنه وآمال الإنسان المكافح الذي خلق من الكلمة نوراً ومن الصحراء جنة مجد نضال أمته ما قبل معركة ميسلون ومروراً بالاحتلال الفرنسي الغاضب الى الجلاء والاستقلال ثم نضال الأمة العربية في سبيل التحرر والوحدة العربية. كان الشاعر فلاحاً ومربياً ولم تمر مناسبة وطنية أو قومية إلا وترجمها شعراً أصيلاً ليغرسه في عقول طلابه مع التركيز على سمو التضحية والإيثار, فهو يشبه الأرض الطيبة المعطاءة والشجرة الثابتة جذورها في أعماق هذه الأرض التي لا تستطيع الريح أن تلويها ولا تحد من نموها. لذلك فإن الكاتب يترك للقراء إبداء آرائهم فيه والحكم عليه من خلال ما طرحه من أفكار وشمائل.
