تتوزع أعمالها بين القصة والرواية والمقالة، حازت سحر الموجي عام 2007 علي الجائزة العالمية للشاعر اليوناني الشهير كفافيس

"لم يكن ليتصور أحد أن اليوم الذي بدأ لطيفاً وطيباً سينتهي بشيء أشبه بالكابوس. في الصباح سطعت شمس مبهجة معلنة نهاية شتاء طويل قضته نساء البيت بجانب المدفأة يتناولن أكواب الشوكولاته والقرفة الساخنة ويتبادلن أحاديث قصيرة مبتورة يهيمن عليها سأم البرد ولياليه الطويلة. أما في هذا الصباح فقد علت في المطبخ أصوات كلام وضحكات، وامتلأت سلة الطعام بما يكفي لقضاء يوم عند البحيرة. تحركت القبيلة الصغيرة والشمس تبارك خطواتها وتصحبها أسفل التلال وحتى الغابة.
جلست أمينة في موقعها المعتاد تحت شجرة أم الشعور واستغرقت في القراءة. لم تنتبه للوقت، لم تعرف إن كانت ساعات قد مرت أم دقائق مع اعتيادها على رحرحة الوقت في تلك البقعة المعزولة. لم تنتبه إلا مع قرصة الجوع في بطنها. رفعت رأسها عن الكتاب فأدركت خلو الشاطئ إلا منها، وهو شيء عادي، فما إن تصل النساء هنا حتى يتفرقن وتروح كل منهن لحال سبيلها، هناك من تذهب للسباحة ومن تُمضي الوقت مع كتاب مثل أمينة أو تهيم على وجهها في الغابة مثل كاثرين. فتحت أمينة سلة الطعام وأخرجت عنقود عنب ورغيف خبز محشوّا بالجبن القريش من صنع يديها. أكلت وركعت بالقرب من الماء، غسلت يديها وملأت كفيها وشربت، ثم عادت للكتاب..".
ماذا يحدث لو أن في حياتك العادية وجدت نفسك تخطو إلى عالم مختلف؟ ماذا يحدث لو سقطت بضعة حيطان فتجاورت الأزمنة؟ متى يبطئ الزمن ومتى تتصاعد سرعته ومتى يقرر أن يلملم أشياءه ويرحل؟ هل هناك موت؟ كيف نخلق لأنفسنا إيماناً جديراً بالحياة؟
