متقاعد من الجامعة اللبنانية، أستاذ مساعد في كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية.
حاز على ليساس في اللغة العربية وآدابها من الجامعة اللبنانية، وماستر في اللغة الروسية وآدابها من جامعة موسكو الحكومية، ودكتوراه PHD في الأدب العربي من معهد الاستشراق ـ أكاديمية العلوم السوفياتية.
أستاذ مشرف لغاية الآن على رسائل الماجستير في الجامعة اللبنانية، وفي الجامعة الإسلامية في لبنان.
له عدة أبحاث منشورة حول دور اللغة في المعرفة، والمشكلات التي تطال الدماغ وتبرز في عمل اللغة.
