لم أتنكّر بجبّة الراهب لأخدع أحداً ولم أنخرط في دين جديد لأوذي الآخرين. اسم اسحاق الذي لا يرمز إلى أي معنى ديني اختاره لي أهلي بالمصادفة ومن دون أي دلالة. هكذا قدّم الأب إسحاق صك براءته فهل أقنعنا، وهو الذي نقل إلى الأوراق ما رآه وتحسَّسه في دير الآباء الأشوريين حيث خدم وأقام. وهو الذي غادر بيروت إلى روما، متلمِّساً طريق الفاتيكان، بعد سنوات طويلة قضاها بين سجن القلعة في دمشق وميناء بيروت ودير الأيقونات.ثم ماذا عن أرشيف الأب جوزيف الحافل، الذي لم يثق إلّا به ليتركه وديعةً بين يديه؟ساعات ثلاث في الطائرة كثَّف خلالها الزمن ليعيش جحيماً لا مثيل له أيستمر في البحث عن الله، أم عن ذاته هو؟
