Book Description
"لقيط بن يعمر الايادي" شاعر جاهلي قديم مُقل يرقى عصره إلى القرن الرابع الميلادي. ولهذا كانت أخباره قليلة وسيرته في عداد المجهول. والمستفاد من المظان أنه كاتب كسرى وترجمانه سرياً في سادات قومه. فاطلع على أسرار دولة الفرس التي عاش في بلاط ملكها. وأفادنا البكري أن لقيطاً كان مقروناً بامرأة كسرى وهو خبر يلقي الضوء على تلك الأخبار التي ألمحت إلى حبسه من سجن كسرى فأطلقه وأمره بالكتابة إلى قومه ليجتمعوا فيغير عليهم فيقتلهم. ومهما يكن من شيء فقد حذر لقيط قومه يوم أحسّ برغبة كسرى في قتال إياه عبر قصيدة كتبها إليهم.
وتعدّ هذه القصيدة هي الوحيدة التي كتبها بالإضافة إلى قطع من الشعر لطاف متفرقة. نالت واحدة لقيط إعجاب المتقدمين فأثنوا عليها وأوردوها في مصنفاتهم كاملة وعدّها طيفور من القصائد المفردات الجاهليات التي لا يعرف في مثل معناها وجودتها وجزالة ألفاظها. وفي هذا الكتاب يجمع المحقق الدكتور "خليل إبراهيم العطية" أبيات ديوان "لقيط بن يعمر الايادي" بحسب رواية ابي المنذر هشام بن محمد السائب الكلبي مخرجاً أبياتها وشارحاً ما غمض منها. مضيفاً إليها مقدمة عامة تحدث فيها عن لقيط الشعر والرجل وعن ديوانه أما في الخاتمة فقد أورد مسرداً للأعلام الرجال والنساء وآخر للقبائل والأمم وآخر للمواضع والبلدان والشواهد.
