Book Description
كان الشاعر صاحب الديوان من كبار فحول الشعراء، وقد عاش أيام بني أمية وشغل كغيره من شعراء عصره بالبادية، وما فيها من حيوان ووحش، فوصف الناقة وفحل الإبل والفرس، والعير والأتان وبقرة الوحش والذئب، والقدح والسيف والرمح وغير ذلك، كما فخر بقبيلته أسد وما تنحدر إليه، نضر، وعزها ومنعتها واستعلائها على القبائل العربية وصفاتها الكريمة.
ولقد تغزل الكميت، وأكثر من الغزل، لا سيما في مطالع هاشمياته على عادة الشعراء البداءة في الجاهلية والإسلام. هذا وإن لشعر الكميت أهمية بسبب كونه يؤرخ لفترة زمنية مليئة بالأحداث والصراعات، وكان شعره خليطاً لم يرض أحداً بشكل تام، فالهاشميات أغضبت الأمويين، ومدحه لبني أمية أغضب الشيعة منه، وهجاؤه للنبي أغضبت منه أهل اليمن وأدى ذلك لقتله.
وقد قام المحقق بجمع شعر ديوان الكميت كله من مصادره القديمة مع ضبطها وبالشكل التام، كما قام بتصحيح ما وقع فيها من الغلط والتصحيف والغلط في الشكل في مواضع كثيرة بالاستعانة بمصادر هذه الأشعار، وبالعودة إلى كتب الأدب ومصادر اللغة، ملحقاً ذلك بتخريج الأشعار الواردة في الديوان من مصادر اللغة والأدب المختلفة مع ذكر اختلاف الرواية بين هذه المصادر معتمداً على الرواية الأقدم والأصلح التي أثبتها، كما قام بشرح جميع الألفاظ الغريبة في الأشعار الواردة في الديوان، مع شرح معاني الشعر جميعها بالعودة إلى معاجم اللغة المختلفة. هذا وقد قدم المحقق لعمله هذا بمقدمة عرّف فيها بالشاعر الكميت عارضاً لنسبه وحياته ومكانته الشعرية.
