الثورات التي قام بها الأحرار لم تنته، فإنها هبت لتحقيق مبادئ الحرية والعدالة والشرف، وانتزعت هذه المبادئ من الملوك والطغاة ودعاة الظلام، وهزمتهم وحطمتهم، ولكن ما هو أن تحطموا حتى ظهر غيرهم، فكادوا لهذه المبادئ وزيفوها أو ألغوها، ولذلك ما زلنا نجد الطغاة ودعاة الظلام يتحكمون ويتبخترون، ويكيدون للشرف بما في قلوبهم من خسة، ويحاربون الحب بما تحتقن به نفوسهم من بغض.
وليست الحرية، والشرف، والحب، والعدالة، من المبادئ الميتة الراكدة، إذ هي مبادئ مكافحة متجددة، تحتاج إلى الحراسة الدائمة والبعث المتوالي، حتى تعم البشر، وحتى تربي الإنسان على أن يكون إنسانيًّا.
