كان نسيم الهواء يضفي على ضوء القمر جوًا شاعريًا يُنبأ بجمال الحياة والمستقبل ، وكانت أم ( نورا ) تنظر إليه بشوق وتحدثه عن طفلتها التي تتمنى أن تكون في جماله ونضارته .. ثم دخلت ( نورا ) غرفة والدتها وهي تلعب بكرتها الصغيرة .. نظرت الأم إليها فوجدت لديها هالات سوداء تحت عينها ، وشعرت أن طفلتها نحيفة ووزنها قليل .. هلعت نحوها خائفة وتقول في نفسها .. ابنتي أصابها سوء تغذية ( أنيميا حادة ) كل ذلك بسبب رفضها تناول الطعام .
..قامت الأم مسرعة وأحضرت من المطبخ كل أنواع الطعام والأصناف الممكنة أمامها تعرضها على ابنتها حتى تتخير من بينها ماتشاء ..
.. ولكن ما حدث كان الأسوء رفضت الطفلة أن تضع أي نوع من الأطعمة في فمها .. فاستخدمت الأم أسلوب العقاب والإجبار على تناول الغذاء ، وظلت على هذه الحالة فلم تراع أن ابنتها قد لا تكون جائعة ..ولم تختر الوقت المناسب لإطعامها أو أنها مصابة بمرض معين يمكن علاجه .. لكن مفهوم الأم الخاطيء للرعاية الصحية والتغذية قد يؤدي إلى مالا يحمد عقابه ..
والآن أسألك عزيزي القارىء ماذا يمكن أن يحدث إذا كان لدى هذه الأم وعي بالتغذية والصحة ؟ وما الأمور التي يجب مراعاتها للأم عند تغذية طفلها؟
