ماذا نقصد بالطفولة المبكرة ..
الطفولة المبكرة .. هي مرحلة ما قبل المدرسة، حيث أنها تبدأ بنهاية العام الثاني من حياة الطفل، وتستمر حتى بداية العام السادس.
وتعرف أيضًا باسم (مرحلة الحضانة ) ..
وتعد مرحلة الطفولة المبكّرة مرحلة مهمة في حياة الطفل، حيث إن نموه فيها يكون سريعًا وبخاصة نموه العقلي، وتشهد هذه المرحلة مجموعة من التغيرات التي تطرأ على الطفل كالاتزان الفسيولوجي ، والتحكم في عملية الإخراج ، وزيادة الميل إلى الحرية، ومحاولة التعرّف على البيئة المحيطة، والنمو السريع في اللّغة، ونمو واكتساب المهارات الحياتية، وتكوين المفاهيم الاجتماعية، والتفرقة بين الصواب والخطأ والخير والشر، وبداية نمو الذات وازدياد وضوح الفوارق الشخصية حتى تصبح واضحة المعالم في نهاية المرحلة.
.. معنى ذلك أن الطفل في هذه المرحلة يكون مدفوعًا بالحاجة إلى تأكيد ذاته وسيطرته، واختبار قدرته وحاجته للتحدي، وشعوره بالاستقلالية.
وبمجرد أن يتعلم الطفل المشي في هذه المرحلة تبدأ مهارات جديدة في الظهور مثل الجري، القفز، والكلام، .. وتنمو لديه بعض المهارات الحركية التي تجعل منه كائنًا اجتماعيًا .
مرحلة العمر الحرج :
ونجاح الطفل في التكيف مع العلاقات الاجتماعية الخارجية يتأثر بنوع الخبرات الاجتماعية التي تلقاها داخل المنزل ، فالأطفال الذين يتم تنشئتهم اجتماعًا بالمنزل يحققون تكيفًا اجتماعيًا خارجيًا أفضل من غيرهم ، كما أن الطفل الذي يظل معتمدًا على الوالدين تتأثر علاقاته بأقرانه ويصبح غير مرغوب به مما يدعوا إلى رفضه كرفيق لعب .
