من المألوف أن نرى شخصين متشابهين في هيئتهما، وقد يكون هذا تأثيرًا جينيًا أو وراثيًا، ولكن من المستحيل أن نرى شخصين متشابهين تمامًا في خصالهما وآرائهما وطباعهما وطريقة حديثهما مع الناس وكيفيه تفاعلهما مع الأحداث.
فالفروق في الشخصية هي التي تميز كل فرد عن غيره وتجعله متفردًا عمن سواه، وتجعل منه بصمه مختلفة عن الآخرين.
ومن ناحية أخرى.. هناك شيء واحد يكاد يشترك فيه جميع الآباء وهو أنهم يريدون تقديم كل شىء لأطفالهم.. وأن هناك اندفاع غريزي لإعطاء أبنائهم أفضل مالديهم رغبة منهم في تعويضهم ماكان ينقصهم في حياتهم وهم صغار..كما أنهم يشعرون بالفخر إزاء إنجازات ابنائهم.. ويشعرون بالألم عندما يفشل أبنائهم..وهذه المشاعر طبيعية تمامًا. ( )
.. ولكن..كيف نحقق ذلك لأبنائنا-أو بالأحرى كيف نمهد لهم الطريق لتحقيقه-دون أن نفهمهم أو نستوعب كيف يفهمون؟!
هل تستطيع تشغيل آله ما...باستخدام دليل تشغيل آلة أخرى مختلفة تمامًا؟!!
بالطبع.. لاتستطيع فعل ذلك.
نفس الشيء مع طفلك، غير أنه ليس بآلة.. وإنما بشر!!
ومن ثم يجب عليك أن تفهم كيف يفكر وكيف يفهم من أجل تحقيق ذلك التآلف والانسجام الذي يجب أن يكون بين أي طفل ووالديه.. والذي يؤدي لحياة مستقرة وهادئة للأبناء والآباء.
والحق..أنه ليست الأسرة هي المسئولة الوحيدة في ذلك، بل تقع هذه المسئولية والعبء على عاتق المدرسة أيضًا..«فالمدارس مصانع للحياة الاجتماعية ومصانع للتعلم ذلك لأنها تهيئ الجو الصالح للأطفال ليتعلموا كيف يتواصلون مع غيرهم ويتحملون المسؤولية..
