إبراهيم زيدان: أديب لبناني، شقيق المؤرخ والأديب وعالم اللغويات الشهير جرجي زيدان، وُلد إبراهيم حبيب زيدان عام ١٨٧٩م ببيروت ونشأ بها، ثم لحق أخاه إلى القاهرة.
وقد نشر كتبًا مدرسية باسمه، ومن أشهر أعماله المستظرفات من النوادر؛ ﻛ «نوادر الكرام» و«نوادر العشاق» و«النوادر المطربة».
وتوفي إبراهيم زيدان بالقاهرة عام ١٩٥٦م.
Book Description
«نوادر الكرام»، كتابٌ من تأليف إبراهيم زيدان، جمع فيه نخبةً من نوادر الكرام في الجاهليّة والإسلام. يفخر بـ سمةٍ عربيّة، من أنبل السّمات الأخلاقية عند العرب، أَلَا وهي الكرم، فهي تشكّل علامةً فارقةً في نسيج شخصيّة العربيّ وتكوينه. و ترقى بصاحبها رقيّ شرفٍ وعزّة، إلى أن غدت مجالًا للمنافسة، وتحقيق المجد.
يحوي الكتاب تذييلًا، يتضمّن عددًا من الأحاديث التي تشجّع على صفة الكرم، وتعظّم من قيمتها، كما تضمّن أمثالًا في الكرم وقيادته للمرء إلى منزلة الشّرف، والحكم الدّالّة على أهمّيّته، وقيمته لدى الشّخصيّة العربيّة، وارتباطه بالمروءة. استدلّ على ذلك مستعينًا بذاكرة التاريخ، كي يؤكّد على الارتباط التّاريخيّ الوثيق بين هذه الصّفة، وبين أخلاق الشّخصيّة العربيّة.
قُسّمت محتويات الكتاب إلى سبعة أقسام: نوادر البرامكة، معن بن زائدة، حاتم الطّائي، الخليفة المهدي، هارون الرّشيد، الأمين والمأمون، متفرّقة في الكرم.
وجاء ضمن مجموعة كتب من أظرف ما كتب إبراهيم زيدان في النوادر، وهي: نوادر الكرام، نوادر الأدباء، نوادر العشّاق، النوادر المُطربة.
