الرشيد وجعفر ومسرور لبسوا ثياب التُّجار حتى لا يعرفه النَّاس.
الرشيد وجعفر ومسرور ساروا في طريقهم حتى وصلو إلى نهر دجلة.
الخليفة والوزير والخادم شافوا صيّاداًجالساً تحت شجرة وبجانبه شبكة خالية من السمك، الصياد كان حزيناً مهموماً.
الخليفة فال للصياد : "ولماذا أنت حزينٌ أيّها الصياد؟
الصياد قال : "شبكتي لم تصطد شيئاً من السمك كما ترى،وأنا صيّادٌ فقير لي أسرة كبيرة ،أنا وأسرتي لم نذق طعاماً منذ يومين،أنا تركت ولدي وزوجتي يبكون من الجوع،طلبوا مني أن أحضِرَ لهم طعاماً ،ولكنّي لم أصطد شيئاً"
الخليفة قال :"ارم شبكتك أيّها الصيّاد،أنا اشتري منك ما تصطاده بمئة دينار"
ماذا التقطت الشبكة؟ وكيف سارت أحداث القصّة من كذبةٍ بسيطة لإتّهام بريء بالقتل؟
هذا ما ستقرأه بين صفحات هذه القصّة المشوِّقة.
