نعيم صبرى روائى وشـاعر مصرى مقيم بالقاهرة . بدأ مسـيرته الأدبية بكتابة الشـعر وأصدر فى البداية ديوانى شـعر ، يوميات طابع بريد وتأملات فى الأحوال . اتجه بعد ذلك اٍلى المسـرح وكتب مسـرحية بئر التوتة ، وهى مسـرحية شـعرية موسـيقـية . كتب بعد ذلك مسـرحيته الشـعرية الزعيم ثم عاد فأصدر ديوان شـعر حديث الكائنات . بدأ نعيم صبرى كتاباته النثرية بكتاب عن سـيرة طفولته بعنوان يوميات طفل قديم ثم واصل كتاباته النثرية فأصدر تسـع روايات حتى الآن ، أحدثها رواية "وتظل تحلم اٍيزيس" ، التى صدرت فى 2009 عن دار نشـر مدبولى . درس نعيم صبري الهندسة الميكانيكية وتخرج من كلية الهندسة بجامعة القاهرة عام 1968. عمل في المجال الهندسي وفي الأعمال الحرة حتى تفرغ للأدب منذ سنة 1995. متزوج من السيدة نجوى يوسف وأب لابنة واحدة، .سارة صبري.

حل الغروب بعد قليل فالدنيا شتاء، أحرضت منال أغطية كافية لمواجهة برد الليل، العشة من الخوص والقش وبلا أبواب، في هذا المكان يتناغم المرء مع الطبيعة بحسب ناموسها وإيقاعاتها، فالنوم مبكرًا مع حلول الظلام والاستيقاظ مع بزوغ أول أضواء الفجر. دخلت منال للنوم وجلس ناجي على شطئ البحر يتأمل الهدوء المحيط بالمكان، كانت النجوم ترصع السماء بوفرة آسرة نفتقدها في جو المدن الخانق الملوث. ملأ صدره من هواء البحر النقي وراح يراقب النجوم في عليائها والشهب التي تتساقط بين الحين والآخر، تبسمَّ.. رحم الله الجدَّة.. كانت تقول عندما ترى شهابًا يتساقط فسوف يتحقق لك ما تتمناه لحظتها.. الْحقه بسرعة وتمنَّ ما تريد.. انتظر متحفزا كأنما ليتمنى أمنية علَّها تتحقق له.. رغم أنه لا يؤمن بالغيبيات.
