صراع دائم بين اليد اليمنى واليسرى ينسال من بين أصابعة أحداث وأشعار رواية "طارق إمام" التى بين يدينا.. رواية قد يخطئ ويستشعر البعض لمحة خيالية تغطيها ، وهى في الحقيقة رواية الواقع عندما يكتبه الخيال ويسطره الفكر والحديث الداخلي. في طياتها نرى أنواعا من القتلة تتباين وتتراقص أمام ضحاياها في السر ، تعيش وتراقب في هدوء يخفي الكثير.. الناسك في مخطوطته والراوى مع ضحية جديدة تحددها الصدفة واليد اليسرى له.. وضباط المباحث في أبراجهم العاجية مع اصوات معذبيهم وذوى الكراسي المتحركة فوق عجلاتهم ودائما هناك جريمة قتل ما.. قتل إنسان او قتل كرامة بإذلال .. أو قتل حلم جميل يراود مخيلة أحدهم ، وجميعا يتقاسمون سمة الهدوء ليس الذي يسبق العاصفة وإنما الذي يخبأها في باطنه .. هدوء لا يكسرة صرخة الموت عندما يطل برأسه فجأة من فوق نصل المطواة، ليضم قصيدة جديدة إلى ديوان الموت الذي ينظمه البطل. قد يظن القارئ أنه سيلقى بين يديه رواية مليئة بالمعتاد من الرعب والأثارة، ولا يعرف أنها قصة قصة قتل متكرر متعمد غير معتادة..مغلفة بجو صوفي رسمته اشعار ابن الفارض".. جو تشعر به وكأنك في معبد تسكنه لعنة او روح شريرة، تجوب الأرض وتتنقل بين الأجساد .. فلا نعرف اين الضحية التالية ومن يكون قاتلها.
