شريعة القطة للقاص والروائي طارق إمام نص ملبس، بدءا من العنوان، ولا سبيل إلي تحقق قدر معقول من الفهم والتواصل معه إلا عند الوصول إلي نقطة النهاية. وهو كذلك نص جريء (بالجيم وليس بالباء) علي مستوي الرؤية والتقنية والتشكيل اللغوي والتخييلي. نشرت دار 'ميريت' هذا النص بعد أن نشر الكاتب مجموعتيه القصصيتين 'طيورجديدة لم يفسدها الهواء' (1995م)، و'شارع آخر لكائن' (1997م). وبنشر هذا النص يتأكد لنا روح المغامرة والجدة الإخلاص للإبداع لدي الكاتب والناشر علي السواء من الصعب أن ندرج هذا النص بيسر ضمن نوع الرواية، إلا بقدر من التأويل والتسامح النقدي والرؤية البعيدة التي تحاول مجاوزة ماهو راسخ أويشبه الراسخ، تطلعا إلي ما هو جديد يسعي إلي توكيد جمالياته الخاصة لنقل إذن إن هذه الرواية تخاطب متلقيا خاصا، لديه استعداد لأن يؤسس مع المبدع نفسه تأصيلا مختلفا لمفهوم الجنس الأدبي.يفاجئنا النص ابتداء باعتراف من المؤلف الحقيقي أو المجرد: 'لا أستحق عقابا.. إنني أقص الحكايات وحسب' ( ص7)، في الصفحة التمهيدية التالية للإهداء الذي ذكر فيه اسم طارق، ولكن يختفي اسمه في التمهيد ليبدأ السارد في الظهور إنه لايروي رواية، بل يحكي 'حكايات' تدعي صدقها وواقعيتها، واقتصار دور الراوي علي قولها بدون تزيد، ومن ثم يتحقق لها الصدق وحيادية السارد، وهو مايعني براءته وعدم استحقاقه لأي نوع من العقاب
