سمر دهمش جراح فلسطينية ولدت في الكويت وعاشت في لبنان والسعودية ومصر والأردن، وحصلت علي بكالوريوس دراسات الشرق الأوسط من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة عام 1985 ثم انتقلت إلي الأردن لتعمل كمحررة أخبار ومراسلة تلفزيونية، تزوجت طبيب جراح وانتقلت لتعيش معه في أمريكا ونُشر كتابها الأول بالغة الانجليزية عام 2005 "Arab Voices Speak To American Hearts".
وتُشارك سمر بتقديم برنامج إذاعي أسبوعي حي علي الهواء يتناول القضايا التي تتعلق بالشرق الأوسط ولإسلام وقضايا العرب والمسلمين في أمريكا.
