" وقد مارس المؤرخون الليزاليون الغربيو التمركز والمستشرقون عملية إقصاء واتقاص لتاريخ الشرق الحضاري, وضعوا صورة الشرق الغيبي, الحواسي والاستبدادي من منطلق عرقي لتناقض الأنا الأعلى الأوروبي المقيم في ماهيات حضارية متضادة. وهذه الصورة الممسوخة للشرق, جعلت المفكر اذ وارد سعيد يقول: إن الشرق حين يرى إلى صورته في مرايا الإستشراق والثقافة الغربية, فإنه لا يتعرف ذاته, بل ينكر ما يرى!!
