"قلّما نجد اليومَ في المكتبة العربية، وعلى الرغم من بشائر الإصدارات الأخيرة، دراسة مستفيضة حول فلسفة حنّة آرندت (1906-1975) بعامّة وفكرها السياسي بخاصّة. ربّما يعود هذا بالأساس، إلى لعنة الـ 'باريا' التي لم تزل تلاحق شخص آرندت وفكرها معاً ! ولا غرابة عندئذ في أنّ آرندت تكاد تكون أوّل من اتّخذ من الـ 'باريا' غرضا بعينه للتفكير الفلسفيّ : كيف يكون المرء منبوذا بين العالَمِين؟ ولكنّ الأشدّ من ذلك هو كيف يتحوّل كونُ-الإنسان منبوذا إلى عامل تفكير في العالَم وصروفه وأشيائه؟ أي كيف يصير الإنسان إلى 'زائدة' لا محلَّ ولا معنى لها، وأيُّ عالَم يحتمل هذا التجريب الماسخ للإنسان إذْ يُصيَّر موضوعَ هيمنة 'كليانية' تمسخه إلى 'منكَر' يعرى تماما من توقيع الإنسانية؟
ليست المسألة ههنا مسألةَ هويّة صمّاء تزداد انغلاقا على نفسها كلّما نُبذت وتحامتْها الهويّات المناوئةُ وأُفردَت (""إفراد البعير المعبَّد"" كما كان يقول طرَفة)، بقدر ما هي مسألةُ إعمال الفكر في 'الثمّةَ - Es gibt' من حيث صارت إلى ""موضوعية ظلماء"" ألزم مجراها الماكرُ حنّة آرندت بأن تقف على الطابع الكارثيّ لما كان بصدد 'أنْ يحدث'، ومن ثمّ بالتحوّل من الفلسفة (النظْرانية) إلى السياسة، أو قلْ تحويل الفلسفة من الداخل تحويلا يجعلها تسّاءَل بلا مواربة : ""ماذا حدث؟ ولماذا حدث ذلك؟ وكيف كان وارداً أن يحدث ذلك؟"". بيّنٌ بنفسه إذن أنّ ما يحمل آرندت على التفكير في السياسة لا يندرج ضمن مجرّد المفاضلة الكلاسيكية بين الأدبيْن، أعني بين 'الأدب الكبير' و'الأدب الصغير'، بقدر ما هو معاينة المجرى الأعمى لما يحدث في العالَم."
