وفلسفة نهرو تنبع من مصدرين٬ من الماركسية بنظرتها العلمية للأشياء٬ ومن البوذية بصوفيتها وبساطتها وإنسانيتها البدائية٬ ومن المزج الواعي بين الفكر والعمل٬ والروح والمادة٬ والحلم والواقع.
