كاتبة وروائية لبنانية.
حازت بعض أعمالها الروائية والإذاعية والصحافية جوائز عديدة.
كلّفتها منظّمة حقوق الإنسان بكتابة عمل إبداعي عن الاتفاقية الدولية لمناهضة التعذيب ضدّ المرأة وصدرت الرواية عن دار عرباي التابعة للمنظّمة عام 1999 بعنوان دفتر عائدة.
ترجمت بعض قصصها إلى الإنكليزية والفرنسية والألمانية.

تحمل هذه الرواية الكثير من التأويل والتكهنات. من هي الفنانة سلمى حسن التي تدور فصول الرواية جميعها حولها. هل يمكن أن تكون هي نفسها، الفنانة الراحلة سعاد حسني التي لا يزال لغز موتها محيراً ومدوّخاً.
لا تبوح الرواية بتفاصيل كثيرة عن نسب "سلمى حسن". ثمة أوجه شبه كثيرة بين سيرة "سلمى حسن" وسعاد حسني. ولكن الرواية تصرّ على إبقاء الاحتمالات كلها مفتوحة، وتبقي هويتها الأصلية عرضة لكثير من الجدل. وتكتفي فقط، بتقصي بوليسي عن لغز موتها.
هل هي ماتت حقاً، أم انتحرت، أم ربما دفعت إلى موتٍ، ظل غامضاً بما يشبه حالةً غريبة بين موتٍ طبيعي وقتل غامض. ثم تستحضر الرواية، بأسلوب بوليسي مثير، شخصية أخرى تسميها Miss x. وهي شخصية غامضة أيضاً، وجدلية. ربما تكون صحافية. ولكنها تملك كثيراً من الخفايا والأسرار عن حياة الفنانة الغامضة "سلمى حسن" ربما تساعد على معرفة "لغز" موتها... كما لغز حياتها نفسها.
