Book Description
تتناول هذه الدراسة تاريخ السلاجقة في بلاد الشام (1078-1117م) من جانبه السياسي. والسلاجقة أتراك اعتنقوا الإسلام، وظهروا على المسرح السياسي مبكرين، ثم اشتهر أمرهم، وقويت شوكتهم في القرن الثاني عشر الميلادي، بعد أن قضوا على البويهيين. وبما أن عصرهم تزامن مع اضطرابات وحروب سادت المشرق الإسلامي، وحيث أنه كان لهم دور بارز فيها، ولم يحظ تاريخهم بعناية المؤرخين المعاصرين، والدراسات العلمية عنهم قليلة جدا، فقد وضع الباحث هذه الدراسة التي بدأها بأصل الأتراك وعلاقاتهم المبكرة بالمسلمين، وأنهاها بالعلاقات السلجوقية – الصليبية ، بعد الحملة الصليبية الأولى، والمواجهات بينهم وبين الصليبيين في شمالي بلاد الشام وجنوبيها.
