Book Description
الحركة الأولى تحب الأرمنية الفلسطينية إيفانا أردكيان طبيبا بريطانيا في زمن الانتداب على فلسطين. تهرب من عكا القديمة. تتزوجه وتنجب بنتا ترحل بها إلى لندن عام 1948. قبل وفاتها، توصي إيفانا بحرق جثتها، وأخذ جزء من رمادها إلى مسقط رأسها في عكا القديمة، أو إلى القديمة. الحركة الثانية تكتب جنين دهمان روايتها ((فلسطيني تيس)) عن محمود دهمان، الذي يهاجر وعائلته من المجدل، عسقلان إلى غزة خلال نكبة 1948. تلاحقه المخابرات المصرية. يترك عائلته ويعود سرا إلى المجدل. ترسم الحدود بين إسرائيل وغزة، ولا يتمكن محمود من استعادة عائلته الصغيرة. يتزوج من امرأة ثانية، ويعيش حياته الجديدة فلسطينيا في ((إسرائيل)). بينما تراجع جنين ((فلسطيني تيس)) في بيتها، يروي السارد حكايتها هي: أثناء دراستها في أميركا، تحب جنين الفلسطينية/ الإسرائيلية باسم الفلسطيني من الضفة الغربية. يتنقلان إلى يافا. يتزوجان ويقيمان في قلعتها القديمة. يكافح الزوجان الشابان لإنقاذ زواجهما من قوانين إسرائيلية تجعل استمراره مستحيلا. الحركة الثالثة يزور وليد دهمان وزوجته جولي (ابنة إيفانا) البلاد لتنفيذ وصية إيفانا. ينتهي بهما تجولهما في مدن حيفا وعكا ويافا والقدس والمجدل وعسقلان إلى الوقوع في عشق البلاد. يفكران في العودة وتغيير مسار حياتيهما. الحركة الرابعة يزور وليد متحف المحرقة ((يد فشم)) في القدس. يلتقي وجولي جنين في يافا. يتعرف على مصادر روايتها ((فلسطيني تيس)) ومصائر أبطالها، وما انتهت إليه علاقتها هي بباسم في الحقيقة وفي الرواية.
