"ما هو الأفضل أو الأنفع للكائن أو للإنسان: أن يكون حراً أم أن يكون فاقداً للحرية، أنه لا يوجد فاقد للحرية ويبدو كأعظم مالك لكل الحرية مثل الإنسان. إن حريته في أن يكون ويحيا ويبدع ويحارب ويسالم ويصنع الحضارات العظيمة والحماقات والذنوب العظيمة أيضاً ليست أعظم أو أقوى من حريته في أن يمرض ويتألم ويتشوه ويشيخ ويموت ويجوع وينام ويعادي الحريات ويقاومها ويخاف منها. إن الإنسان ليبدو وكأنه هو وحده الحر في هذا الكون، أو كان شيئاً ما لا يساويه في حريته في هذا الكون. ضمن هذه المقاربة يأتي بحث القصبي "الإنسان يعصي لهذا يصنع الحضارات ضمن فلسفة تستأثر بأفكاره التي تجمع إلى صناعة حرية عشواء بلا حدود، وإنسان بلا مبادئ ولا قيود. إن عبقرية أي إنسان ومزاياه لا تساوي أكثر من قدرته على العصيان ومن إرادته وممارسته له ومن أساليبه المختلفة في ممارساته له. إن إبداع أي مجتمع في ألف عام لا يساوي أكثر من عصيان هذا المجتمع في نفس هذه المدة. إن أي إبداع أو تجاوز ليس إلا عصياناً ما. إن عصيان الإنسان هو تخطي ما كان، هو تخطي قدرة الطبيعة. أما عصيان الحشرة فإنه التلوث بما كان. إنه الخضوع للطبيعة بكل صيغها وأساليبها وبذاءتها. إن الإنسان أقوى وأشمل عصياناً من الحشرة إذن، بل إنه هو الذي يعصي دون الحشرة. إن الحشرة لا تعصصي. إن عصيان الأعضاء ليس عصياناً، إنه تلوث واستجابة للجوع إلى العفونات. إنه طاعة لإملاء الطبيعة واستسلام لشروطها، إنه ركوع إلى الأرض. إن الإنسان هو وحده الذي يعصي في هذا الكون لأنه هو وحده الذي يتجتوز قدرة الطبيعة وأشواطها، ويخرج عليها ويرفضها، وهو وحده الذي يتجاوز نفسه ويخرج عليها ويرفضها.
