عبدالرحمان المكاوي من مواليد المملكة المغربية وسط البلاد ( ولاية مراكش ) سنة 1974 للميلاد ، حاصل على شهادة الماجستير في اللغة العربية وآدابها ، تخصص أدب مغربي أندلسي ، أعمل لحد كتابة هذه السطور موظفا بقطاع التربية الوطنية ببلدي المغرب تخصص إدارة مدرسية من مؤلفاتي " مسك الليل " وهي رواية طبعت بالمغرب سنة 2005 للميلاد ، ثم بحث مخطوط بعنوان " المصطلح النحوي في كتاب الرد على النحاة ودوره في نقد نظرية العامل في النحو العربي " .

حاولت في هذا البحث مقاربة مؤلف " الرد على النحاة " لابن مضاء القرطبي من خلال دراسة تجمع بين القديم والحديث، متوسلا بالمقاربة المصطلحية من خلال الوقوف على المصطلحات النحوية في هذا المؤلف، وكيف ساهمت هذه المصطلحات في الاعتراض على نظرية العامل النحوي ونقدها بإظهار مواطن الضعف فيها وقصورها عن الوصف الأمثل لكلام العرب، لأن هذه النظرية ـ حسب ابن مضاء القرطبي ـ لا تراعي سياق الكلام ومقاصد المتكلم من كلامه .
