محمد توفيق السهلي
مكان الولادة : حيفا
تاريخ الولادة : 1940
ولد محمد توفيق السهلي في بلد الشيخ قرب حيفا عام 1940 م، حينما وقعت نكبة فلسطين عام 1948 التجأت عائلته إلى لبنان، حيث أمضت في صيدا مدة ثم انتقلت بعدها للإقامة في دمشق، أتم دراسته الابتدائية في مدرسة حافظ إبراهيم بالمزة، والإعدادية في مدرسة أسعد عبد الله بدمشق، فحصل على شهادة الدراسة المتوسطة عام 1959، حين ترك الدراسة للعمل من أجل إعالة عائلته، لكنه أتم دراسته الثانوية بالدراسة الخاصة فحصل على الثانوية الادبية عام 1962 م، التحق بعدها بالجامعة ليحصر على الإجازة في التاريخ عام 1970.
بعد تخرجه عمل سكرتيراً في مجلة (صوت فلسطين)، له عناية خاصة بالأدب وخاصة التراثي منه.
كتب المقالة والبحث ونشر كتاباته بالصحف والمجلات العربية..
من مؤلفاته:
1. المعتقدات الشعبية في التراث (بالاشتراك)، 1986.
2. موسوعة المصطلحات والتعابير الشعبية الفلسطينية.
3. أحلام محرمة (قصص قصيرة جداً).
4-الحلم المسروق (قصص قصيرة جدا)
