تحدث أحداث سيئة (بالإنجليزية: Shit happens)، هي مصطلح إنجليزي أمريكي عامي تستخدم لعبارة سلبية ونابية، ويقصد هذه المصطلح بأن الأحداث السيئة سوف تحدث، هذه المفردة أستخدمت للمرة الأولىّ في سنة 1968، تحت عنوان الكتاب المدينة الأمريكية (The American City)، وهي جملة بديلة عن الكلمة الأصلية ذا ستوف هابنز (The Stuff Happen).
