(يوليوس قيصر) مسرحية تراجيدية للكاتب الإنجليزي "ويليام شكسبير" (1564-1616). تتكون هذه المسرحية من خمسة فصول، استمد شكسبير موضوعها وحوادثها من حياة يوليوس قيصر وماركوس انطونيوس تطرح هذه المسرحية علامات استفهام كثيرة حول المسائل النفسية والأخلاقية والفلسفية، في القرن السادس عشر ما ينفي عنها صفة التراجيدية الكلاسيكية برأي كثير من النقاد، ويدخلها في دائرة المسرحية "المشكل".
تبدأ المسرحية باحتفال الرومانيون بمهرجان الخصب مبتهجين لانتصارات قيصر" العسكرية على أعدائه، لكن هذا الاحتفال لا يمنع من وجود أعداء له دبت في قلوبهم الغيرة والحسد. فمنذ البداية نرى "فلافيوس" و"مارولوس" وهما ضابطان في جيش بروتس يأتيان إلى هذا الجمع الذي احتشد ليمجد ويهتف لـ "قيصر" فيعملان على نزع النصب التذكارية، كما يأمران الجمع بأن يذهبوا إلى المنازل ومن هنا تنطلق المسرحية "كمأساة انبنت تبعاً للقاعدة الكلاسيكية التالية: الفصل الأول: يصف الحالة العامة وأسباب العداء المتزايد تجاه قيصر. الفصل الثاني: يتطور العداء إلى مؤامرة ضد قيصر للتخلص منه. الفصل الثالث: يغتال قيصر ويحكم أوكتافيوس وماركوس أنطونيوس وليبدوس. الفصل الرابع: يمهد للحل، إذ يؤكد على اقتراب نهاية المتأمرين. الفصل الخامس: ينتهي بمأساة المتأمرين، حيث تتلقى قوات بروتس الهزيمة على أيدي أنطونيوس ورجاله، وينتحر بروتس بأن يأمر خادمه أن يمسك له السيف في حين يهوي هو فوقه وهكذا تكون نهاية المسرحية..
