تقول الشاعرة في " وجعٍ غافٍ " :
" ... ما عدت أريدك / ما عدتُ أعشقك ... / ما عاد قلبي يرقص عندما يذكرك .. / لكنك ستبقى في القلب وجعاً غافياً / يستيقظ ، كلما لمحت غريباً / يحمل بعضاً من ملامحك ( ... ) " .
في هذا الكتاب خواطر شعرية تدخل بها تمارا شاكر باب الإبداع من بوابة الذات ( المرأة ) الآخر ( الرجل ) ، فالمكتوب يمثل غياب المعشوق ، والفراق ، والدخول في حال الغياب ، وبهذا المعنى تكون الكتابة دواءً ، ومحاولة لملىء فراغ العاطفة وإحياء الشعور بمعنى الحياة من جديد .
