هذا الكتاب يطمح إلى أن يكون كتالوجا نهتدي به إلى الأسلوب الأقوم في التفكير الذي يقود إلى الصواب، كما يطمح إلى تبيان المزالق السهلة التي تقود إلى الخطأ.
هذه الغاية المثالية التي أنشدها ليست معتمدة على النصح والإرشاد وإيراد الحِكَم والأمثال، والاقتداء بالسلف الصالح، بل إعادة فكفكة العقل واكتساب مهارة تركيبه وتشغيله، كما نتعلم مهارة استعمال أية آلة نستخدمها، كي نجعل العقل فاعلا في انتاج أفكار ابداعية هادية ومرشدة، وهكذا حينما تكون هذه ثقافتنا سيصبح مسيرنا نحو المستقبل واضحاً معبداً، يسير عليه المجتمع باتجاه واحد لا تناقض فيه.
لذلك وأنا أكتب موضوعات هذا الكتاب كان جهدي منصباُ على الابتعاد عن الأسلوب الأكاديمي في تقديم المنطق للناس، وعدم الاقتراب من السمعة السيئة التي مني بها المنطق والفلسفة، من خلال تناول مشكلات الواقع، بما لا يُشعر أحدا أننا نتكلم بالفلسفة والمنطق.
وأرجوا من الله أن لا يخذلني في مسعاي الذي أرجوه خالصاً مبرأً من كسب الأنا، وأن يُيسر لي من يجعل هذا الكتاب متاحاً وميسوراً للناس، كما يكون محفزاً لمن يستشعر المشكلة التي عالجتها، لكي يحذو معي هذا الإتجاه التنويري.
