عمدت فی سبیل تقدیم الموضوع بصورة معجمية إلى اتخاذ أسماء الأعلام مداخل إلى المواد. وذكرت الأمم، والشعوب، والدول، والمدن، والملوك، والألهة، والأساطير، والديانات، والأنبياء، والرسل، والقديسين، واللغات، والعلماء، والفلاسفة، والكتاب، واللاهوتيين، ورجال الدين والعظماء، جملة وتفصيلاً، بحيث يتمكن القارىء من الحصول على معلومات عامة أو خاصة وفق مبتغاه وبأقرب السبل.
ذكرت فی مطلع كل مادة، بالحرف اللاتيني، الاسم الفرنسي ثم الاسم الإنكليزي اللذين تعرف بها هذه المادة، إلى جانب الاسم العربي. وذلك تسهيلاً للقارىء الراغب في مراجعة المادة في مصادر أجنبية. ويكون المعجم، بذلك، معجاً عربياً فرنسياً إنكليزيا للأعلام.
