صدر حديثاً كتاب “لبنان في مئة عام: انتصار الطائفية” للكاتب والصحفي والمفكر اللبناني نصري الصايغ.
يرى الكاتب بأن لبنان محاط بدول ومحاور متصارعة، فشعوبه عابرة للحدود، وحدوده رخوة تعبرها القضايا السياسية، والسياسات، والطوائف، والمصالح، وتتدفق عليه الاموال بأثمان سياسية مكلفة.
يرى الكاتب بأن لبنان لم ينشأ كوطن، بل كموطئ للطوائف. حبل به العقل الماروني، ودخله السنة بعد ممانعة، ثم الحق به الشيعة بعد هزيمة. فإختار الجميع ان يكون مكاناً على قياسهم. سموا ذلك تعايشاً، ولم يتعايشوا. لديهم دستور حديث، اهملوه عن عمد. اختاروا ان يكون لكل عشيرة او قبيلة او طائفة، حصة. باتت الدولة في خدمة الطوائف، الى ان احتلت الطوائف الدولة. حدث مراراً في الحرب اولاً، وفي السلم راهناً.
لبنان ليس للبنانيين. يشبه انه لهم. لكل محور حصة ولكل طائفة فروع خارجية، والدولة كرقاص الساعة. هي هنا وهناك في كل منعطف. ولانه كذلك، عاش ما يقارب المئة عام على حافة الدم، وانزلق مراراً. تذوق اهله مرارة القتل، ومذلة العيش. حتى بلغ باكراً سن اليأس.
