وشعبه ينام في المقابر
لعنت كل شاعر يستلهم الدمعة خمرا
والأسى صبابة
والموت قشعريرة
لعنت كل شاعر
يغازل الشفاه والأثداء والضفائر
في زمن الكلاب والمخافر
ولا يرى فوهة بندقية حين يرى الشفاه مستجيرة
ولا يرى رمانة ناسفة حين يرى الأثداء مستديرة
ولا يرى مشنقة حين يرى الضفيرة
