كتاب عقلاء المجانين pdf تأليف الحسن بن محمد بن حبيب النيسابورى، كتاب طريف في موضوعه، وضعه صاحبه نزولاً عند رغبة نفر من أصحابه فقد أشار إلى ذلك في كتابه حيث قال: "ولقد سألني بعض أصحابي عوداً على بدء أن أصنف كتاباً في ذكر عقلاء المجانين وأوصافهم وأخبارهم، وكنت أتجنبه إلى أن تمادى به السؤال، فلم أجد بدأً من إسعافه بطلبته، وإجابته إلى بغيته، تحرياُ لرضاه وتوخياُ لهواه".
ويغلب الظن أنه كان يحدث بمضمونه في مجالسه، ولما كان أبا القاسم واعظاً ملا بد أنه كان بحاجة في وعظه إيراد الأمثلة التي تساعد على الإقناع، وهل أفضل من الرجوع إلى من كابدوا العشق عامة، والعشق الإلهي على وجه الخصوص وسيلة لذلك، مما أفضى بهم إلى اعتزال الناس وهذا يسهل وصفهم بالمجانين من عامة الناس، وصاحبنا لم يدع أنه مبتكر هذا الفن، ولكنه أشار في كتابه هذا إلى من سبقوه في هذا المضمار وذكر منهم: الجاحظ، وابن أبي الدنيا، وأحمد بن لقمان، وأبا علي سهل بن علي البغدادي.
