في هذا الكتاب يعرض المؤلف لنزعة التدين الرئيس بوش «الابن» ومدى التزامه نهج اليمين المسيحي، وعلاقة متسشاريه الروحيين بسياسته الداخلية والخارجية، إضافة إلى تفاصيل لعلاقات معقدة بين بوش وكبريات شركات الأسلحة والنفط في أمريكا، وكذا الصهيونيين المسيحيين واللوبي اليهودي الأمريكي من ورائهم، وأثر ذلك في رسم سياسة صقور البيت الأبيض، في خليط من الدوافع الظاهرة «الحرب على الإرهاب، نزع أسلحة الدمار الشامل..» لتحقيق مزيج من مصالح أطراف عالم بوش السري.
